I had an idea last night. I love those A Ha moments.
The special that I am running for The North West Houston Mothers of Multiples involves printing a wall portrait for each of the families. Because the special was free for the families, I need to find ways to save money while producing all of these portraits. My first logical thought was to send all of the images to my lab as the same order so they would all be printed and shipped back to the studio together, saving a substantial amount on shipping, rather than one shipping charge for each family. This means that all of the finished portraits will arrive at the studio at the same time. Opportunity!
Why not throw an unveiling party!?! I think it is a great idea, and I am going to work on making this happen. As I look at my calendar, the last of the family portraits will be taken on Thursday 11/16. Saturday the 18th I do not have a wedding, so this seems like the logical time.
Saturday November 18th form 10 –2 Solaris will host a party for the families of NWHMOM, and anyone else that wants to attend, to unveil all of the finished family portraits. Maybe I can do a press release? Maybe I can have the press there!?! OK. Now I’m really excited about this. More details to follow!
