Most churches in Houston are very strict with the photographers photographing weddings during the service. Normally, the same rules apply to every wedding. I am not allowed to use a flash, nor am I allowed to advance further down the aisle than the furthest occupied pew.
I wear rubber soled shoes, so that I’m not as likely to make noise when I’m moving about.
Because of these restrictions it becomes difficult to be creative, however last weekend’s wedding was one in which I wanted to be as creative as possible. You see, the bride is also a wedding professional. Her name is Lori Kaufman, and she is one of the catering directors of The Courtyard on St. James.
Can you picture me laying down in the middle of the isle? They had just reached the alter, and
Lori’s father was giving her away.
