For the past 23 years photography has allowed me to live with passion and purpose. 100% of my income has been, and always will be earned through my photographic endeavors. From nothing comes an idea; from that idea comes a client; to that client we present an amazing portrait; from that portrait comes a lifetime of enjoyment. This is my creative process.
Solaris is the name of my studio, and when you take the time to contact us you will find a business that is responsive, grateful and eager to service your needs. Our goal is to put the finest images we can through our studio doors and into your hands for you to enjoy for the rest of your life.
A variety of photographic services are available to our clients including family and executive portraiture, but our primary source of bread and butter is our outstanding wedding photography.
Solaris is a place for people with a passion for photography. A place of creation. We are not interested in competing with local competition. Our energies are focused on creating and improving our photographic style through never ending continuous education so the portraits we provide our clients with transcend simple pieces of paper and communicate on a deeper level than a basic snap shot. Education developes style in an artist. Style defines an artist. A photographer without style owns a xerox machine and not a camera.
Our objective is to provide exceptional portraiture for you, our client, and photography classes for both professional and novice photographers alike. Mediocrity is something to be avoided at all costs.
In the beginning, Photography by Aric could have been a good company name, however it would now fail to encompass all that we offer and do. Solaris has become a vehicle for expressing my many photographic passions, products, and commitment. While the most obvious manifestation of this passion is visible in the images I create, it also takes shape in the wealth of information contained on this site, through my published books, my online galleries, workshops, online communities and blogs.
