I consider myself an artist first, and a photographer second, and for the past 25 years my photography has allowed me to live with passion and purpose.
In 1986 , at the young age of 16, came an unmistakeable calling and love of everything photography. Since that time, 100% of my income has been, and always will be, earned through my photographic endeavors.
This calling has led to a lifetime of constant continuing education, both from universities and from working at what I consider to be some of the finest portrait studios in the country. From years and years of this continuing education, Solaris Studios was born.
The completed artwork hanging on the walls of our customer’s homes brings us new customers; to our customers we present an amazing portrait which produces a lifetime of enjoyment. This is our creative process.
Solaris is the name of my studio, and when you take the time to contact us you will find a business which is responsive, grateful and eager to service your needs. Our goal is to place the finest portrait you have ever had created of yourself into your hands. Mediocrity is something to be avoided at all costs.
At Solaris we have a Purpose Statement, and this Purpose Statement is placed next to every computer in our office, the first line of which reads: ”To continually become better photographers and always practice and share what we have learned with our clients.”
Three photographic services are available to our clients including family and executive portraiture, but our primary source of awards is our outstanding wedding photography.
Solaris is a place for people with a passion for photography. A place of creation. Our energies are focused on creating and improving our photographic style through never ending continuous education so the portraits we provide our clients with transcend simple pieces of paper and communicate on a deeper level than a basic snap shot.
Do you love Black and White imagery? We do too, and each wedding we deliver comes with a collection of Black & White images. All my images are first created in color, and I then take the time to meticulously convert select images into Black & White. These newly created images are then added as a sub-gallery to your primary online wedding gallery.
Our objective is to provide exceptional portraiture to our client’s in a timely manner.
In the beginning, Photography by Aric could have been a good company name, however it would now fail to encompass all that we offer and do. Solaris has become a vehicle for expressing my many photographic passions, products, and commitment. While the most obvious manifestation of this passion is visible in the images I create, it also takes shape in the wealth of information contained on this site, through my two eBooks, my online galleries, workshops, online communities and blogs.
