Each month Solaris Studios partners with local businesses to hold a Business Headshot Day. During these events, a photographer from Solaris Studios will be present at the hosts’ location ready to photograph executives in need of a new or updated headshot.
Why would you need a new or updated business headshot?
Your finished portrait is perfect for your business brochure, blog, or on your website’s “About” or “Contact Page”. Your new headshot will be perfect for many professional social media sites such as LinkedIn and Google +. Use your image to accompany any articles you may have recently written or submitted. For board members, this is a perfect portrait to place on an organization’s website listing the current Board of Directors.
Participants will receive a high resolution digital file of their retouched portrait which they may print from and reproduce freely.

Look #1:
Solaris Rear Screen Headshots
Our signature process.
Distinctive and remarkable.
Using a custom designed technology, we are capable of placing a custom image in the background of your executive portrait for maximum impact. A planning meeting over the phone, or in person, is required for a Solaris Rear Screen Headshot session.
Look #2: Creative Headshots
Are you in need of an image a bit more casual, or artistic? But not something to far off in left field either? Possibly for a book cover, or your company blog?
Look #3: On Location Conservative Headshots
Your executive portrait session will take less than 15 minutes, and we come to you. Your portrait is created in the comfort of your office, and you will spend a minimum amount of time away from your desk.
Each selected image is retouched to perfection and is then saved in four different versions, both high-resolution and low resolution, in both black and white and in color. Perfect for publication and web use. Once the retouching is completed, you will receive an email with instruction on how to download your high resolution digital files right from the comfort of your desk.
Your digital files will be a 5x7 format at 300dpi.

While the image below may look like a family portrait, don't be fooled. This is a beautiful portrait of the Baker Family, as in Houston Baker Nissan. A Houston family owned and operated business.
The Baker Family takes pride in the fact that they are a family owned and operated business. Indeed it is one of their core benefits. To help communicate this fact to their customers, Mrs. Baker commissioned Solaris to create two inviting 40" family portraits, each communicating family, Houston and their product.
Each of the two finished portraits below now hangs above each of Mr. Baker's desks. One portrait at each of his two Houston locations.
As you can see, this was a full production to create these portraits. A generator and 6' softbox were brought on location to properly illuminate the composition.
