One of my favorite photographers is Pam Francis. She uses a technique called Rear Screen Photography in her commercial work. I am on a journey learning how to use this technology in my engagement and bridal portraiture.
Some day soon, I will have an eBook available on how to create this kind of imagery.
Here are a few more examples of what I have been playing with in the world of rear screen.

Don’t think Katie is always this beautiful Angel seen here. As I write this she is fighting with her twin brother. She’s winning too.
I used three lights in this set up. One was a 1200 watt White Lightning far camera left bouncing off the ceiling. The second was a 600 watt White Lightning in the hall way in the background. The third was a Q Flash with a white and gold umbrella camera right to light the subject.
I originally had a light upstairs, but I like the stairs better dark as it forces my eye back to Katie.
I probably should have used darker socks.

Bridal portraits are one of my favorite things to photograph, especially in the studio where I have total control of of my environment.

For years now the Hallam family has been coming to Solaris for their portrait needs. This portrait is of Pastor Hallam and his son in law Pastor Rudolph Hallam, both of The Abundant Life Christian Center.
