As parents to 7 month old twins, we were quite unsure of how our portrait session in a professional studio would go, considering this was a first. After arriving, Aric made us feel very welcome, shoo-ing some of those nerves away. Talking with us a little and also coochie coo-ing both of my babies well, he knew how to do that, he is a daddy to twins also!

Aric positioned us together just so, gently guiding us into that portrait he so wanted to take. Awesome! After what seemed like afew minutes, we changed positions, with me holding each baby separately to portray the mother and child. Again, Aric's precise direction led to some beautiful pictures, capturing a certain time in our lives, through his lens.

Aric's perfectionism in creating superb, one of a kind photographs, is second to none. Yet he knew he had to be quick, but didn't miss a heartbeat in making our family feel comfortable either.

After sending us one of the pictures to view, I emailed it to an aunt. She was SO moved by this picture she cried, at a loss for words, later saying "how beautiful!". What a recommendation that is!

Aric was our daughter's wedding photographer. The thing that caught my attention at our first meeting was Aric's zeal for his profession. He was not content to do the ordinary. He wanted to find something unique for our daughter.

Not only were we pleased with his photography, but we felt that this job was important to him, not just another job.

When we reviewed the wedding album, I was amazed that out of all the photos Aric chose, we only changed two of them. It was perfect.

Solaris studios has since done graduation photos for our younger daughter and family pictures for Christmas.

Ben and I met with many photographers, but after meeting with Aric, we knew we wanted to work with him.

Our first impression was 'This is a man who loves his job.' He loves to talk about his photos, and more so to show his work. You know he puts all his energy in photography.

I did my bridal portraits at Rice with Aric. He made me very comfortable during the entire shoot, discussing ideas for locations, and just keeping everyone's energy up when the sun started to come out. When the pictures were ready (a few days later!) we went over every shot to choose the best one for main portrait. Every picture was beautiful. A friend described it as 'It's you, but perfect.'

At the wedding, Aric stayed out of the way, never invasive or obstructive, yet managed to capture some great photos. My parents did not want us to hire a professional photographer for the wedding, but after seeing how the pictures came out, they agree we made the right decision.

The only negative thing was that it took a while for our album to be completed. I didn't care much since we had our wedding pictures online a few days after the wedding, but my husband was annoyed.

In the end, the album was gorgeous and worth the wait.
If we had to do it again, we would choose Aric again.

Aric was, from the beginning, very personable and friendly. I could tell he really enjoys what he does for a living and that is what made me take a look a Solaris Studios.

For my wedding day, I wanted a photographer who was going to be a 'master' at his job, which is to capture the precious moments that many other cameras could not/would not find. I had many family members and friends that my husband and I posed with to take pictures, and while these were important to me, I knew that later, the ones that would make me smile, laugh, and cry the most would be those of the most intricate moments that define who you are and the relationships you have with your friends and family.

We could not be happier to have chosen Solaris Studios. As we begin our new life together, my husband and I look forward to future occasions in which Aric and the Solaris team can help capture even more precious moments.

We had a family session with Aric with out twin daughters. He showed exceptional patience with them the entire time and was fun to work with. The pictures were amazing and very unique. I would highly recommend Aric if you're looking for something very special and different from all the rest.

Aric recently photographed our son's Bar Mitzvah (12/2/06) and we were so impressed with the results. His creative talent and passion for photography is genuine, and it shows in the images he delivered to us.

With our older son we went with a low budget photographer. This was our last Bar Mitzvah and we felt we really wanted special photos of our family and of Matt.

We are in a twin group with Aric's wife and he gave us a special opportunity to have a session with him. I as a mother and in general was very nervous having my family's picture taken and really didn't know what to expect.

We arrived at his studio and he immediately made us feel at home. At the time we had 10 month old boy/girl twins and he was very accomodating. He captured everything I could have dreamed of in less than 30 minutes and really without 'knowing' us. I am very proud to have his art hang in our home and I loved every minute of his session.

He is truly talented and very comfortable to work with. There is a question that asks would I refer him to a friend, the answer is yes! yes! yes! but I would want to go as far as referring him to the world.

I have worked with Aric on several occasions. I interviewed several photographers for our wedding and it was an easy choice after I met with Aric. He was so friendly, easy to work with, and talented beyond belief. It was so nice to work with someone who didn't make you feel like you were hiring them for 'just another wedding.'

You can tell that Aric truly loves what he does and his passion for his work and pleasing his customers is evident in everything he does. He takes the time to find out exactly what it is your looking for, what style, special requests, etc. you are looking for.

My wedding album could not have turned out more incredible. Everyone that looks through it says the same thing, that it is truly a work of art.

I worked with Aric again recently on having my portrait made. I had a specific image in mind and had some samples that I sent to Aric before the shoot. Aric had taken the time to study the pictures and had them up in the studio while he was taking my pictures. He made every effort to make sure that the pictures were taken exactly the way that I wanted them to look while studying the samples that I had given him. The pictures turned out more incredible than I ever could have imagined.

Living in Houston, we are so very fortunate to have Aric and Solaris Studios here in our backyard. It's truly refreshing to work with someone who is passionate and dedicated to his work, while also values customer satisfaction at the same time.

Our family worked with Aric almost a year ago. We took our 1 1/2 year old twins, and got the most beautiful family shots in 30 minutes. Our portrait hangs over our fireplace, and it is always the first thing people comment on when they enter the house.

I also ordered three additional portraits to give as gifts for grandparents, and they loved them!

When we have more kids, we definitely want to go to Aric for pregnancy and newborn portraits!
