This was not created on assignment, but was pure play while on vacation (August 2018) with my great longtime friend David Jones.
The technique used is called Light Painting, which shouldn’t be confused with Drawing with Light.
When attempting to create an image such as this you must first envision the final image in your mind’s eye. Complete darkness is required for the added colored light added, and to ensure a good exposure of the night sky.
