Last week, I embarked on an exciting journey with a new client, photographing 222 headshots across three different offices in two states! 📸✨
The Task: Ensuring Perfect Consistency
Ensuring perfect consistency was key. I began with a sample session in the studio, setting the standard for exposure, body position, head position, and background tonality.
Each Session: Capturing the Best
Each session involved capturing 10 to 20 images per individual, focusing on their best expressions and body positions.
The Challenge: Consistent Lighting Across Locations
Maintaining consistent lighting across various locations was crucial, minimizing the need for extensive post-production work.
Efficient Post-Production Process
When dealing with such a large number of headshots, efficient post-production is key to keeping the project on track. To expedite the process, I cull the images down to roughly 5 or 6 top choices per person.
I’m spending all day today and tomorrow retouching these selections and placing them online, allowing each individual to download their preferred image(s). This approach not only speeds up post-production but also provides the client with a variety of choices. 🚀
Delivery Formats
Each image is delivered in both 5×7 and square formats, ensuring versatility for various professional uses.
